WHAT'S NEXT
for St. peter?
The end of my first mandate is here. And since nobody else ran for mayor in our town (out of fear I suppose), I would hereby like to announce the plans for the next 4 years.
01
Housing o' masses
Until this moment I have extended the residential areas up Petersberg. I want to continue that trend by not only building homes on the undeveloped plots, but also by expanding beyond Petersberg once we hit the population milestone of 15.000 residents.
The new district will be connected by public transport to the center and ferry station, and the gondolas will serve as a shortcut for pedestrians, residents benefiting of a huge discount on ticket fares.
02
Hypermarket
Recently there have been investments in the commercial area, however it's been small stores and supermarkets.
I'm pleased to announce a new hypermarket will be built for our town (the whereabouts and the brand are unclear at this point). I can assure you however that we have the green light and we are coming up with solutions as we speak.
03
Staying fit
During my last mandate I, along with the Governor and a few investors, have established that St Peter ought to have its own football pitch and local team. I will be located in the upcoming residential district beyond Petersberg, and it will also serve as a recreational area unless it's match day.
Plans have been proposed for a hockey team and court as well.
04
Let those tourists flow!
The number of tourists has decreased in the past years, and we shall do everything in our power to get them back on our streets. A major step forward would be an intercity bus station, since right now tourist access is easy only from towns in the region. There will be new attractions to go with it, and hopefully the streets will feel #likeneverbefore.
